Sept. 24 & 25; 12:00 – 4:00 pm
AARP Driver Safety Program is an 8 hour course designed for seniors age 50 and over. Topics covered include physical aspects of aging and how to compensate for them, accident prevention, driver safety strategies, highway driving, review of current driving laws, auto safety features, and warning signs of unsafe driving. Five insurance companies now offer seniors discounts on their auto insurance premiums for taking this course. Cost of the course is $10 which covers both days and all handout materials. This course is offered at Ieuter Insurance Group, 233 E. Larkin St., on Sept. 24 & 25, 2008 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. To register call 835-6701.
